I am whole in Christ, whereas before I was fractured. Once I was without hope; now I have a hope that is both steadfast and sure. Once I was adrift; now I am anchored in the Rock of Ages. Once I was hungry; now I am fed by the Bread of Heaven. Once I was thirsty, then He gave me Himself, a Well of Water springing up to eternal life. Once I was orphaned; now I belong in the family of God. Once I was an alien; now I am a fellow citizen with the saints. Once I was without a home; now I am at home in Jesus Messiah.
“Remember that you were at that time without Messiah, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Messiah Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Messiah.” Eph 2:12-13
