Mary confused the Risen Christ with the gardener. He came to the disciples in a locked room, showing scars. He came to Paul on the road to Damascus as a bright light. He came to the fishing disciples as a customer on the beach. He came to the two Emmaus disciples as a traveler on the road. Jesus shows up in our lives in different, and yet wonderful, ways. What joy we have, when we know, “It is the Lord!”
“Jesus said to them, ‘Come and have breakfast.’ None of the disciples ventured to question Him, ‘Who are You?’ knowing that it was the Lord” Jn 21:12 (NASB).
