It is easy to silently beat ourselves up over something we did or did not do. Behind this is perfectionism and self-righteousness. The belief that we should have acted perfectly in the past needs to be released. Know that you are a person that needs grace like everyone else. Christ has given you grace. Stop withholding it from yourself as if you are special and do not need it. Receive it and be thankful.
