To us, tears are a non-verbal form of communication. To the Father they are words that speak volumes; they carry meaning to the Heart of One who knows all about tears, because He cries. To us, the broken heart of the Son expresses the broken heart of the Father. To the Father and to the Son these tears are communication, self-talk, at the heart of who God really is.
