Just as there is a whispering voice of God at work in us, we also have to contend with other whispering voices. Some come from our wounded self. Some come from dark spiritual beings. Some of these voices are reinforced by the culture. They seek to imitate God’s whisper, or they want to drown out God’s whisper. They want to program our thoughts and actions away from the good and God’s best. Obey your Good Teacher!
“The Lord … your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will behold your Teacher. Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left.” Isaiah 30:20b-21
