The light that shines on our path comes from the Christ who dwells within. If we do not have this Light in ourselves, then we cannot avoid walking in darkness. “If then the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!” (Matt 6:23b). If we are not responding in obedience to the inner Light, we guarantee our own stumbling. The Light shines in us to keep a clean house, and to enable us to walk a straight path. This straight path is to live out His love in all of our relationships. He is our inner Son shine.
