I don’t like books or movies that leave me hanging in the end. I like happy endings, or at least endings with a completed story. Stories do not always happen that way. We are all writing our stories. We can die in the middle of our stories; we can die with tasks unfinished and jobs that did not get quite done. None of us want that; we would all like to say as Jesus did to His Father, “I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do” John 17:4 (NKJV). If we are going to finish our work we will have to stop procrastinating and wasting time and by discipline and focus stay on track. This can be done without anxiety by steady pace and walking in the Spirit.
