“Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven” Matthew 5:16 (NASB).  We are not only to let our lights shine, we are to let it shine in such a way that it points to our Father and not to us, and that it results in glory to our Father and not to us.  We have no light except from the One who said, “Let there be light.”  Humility knows that.  Pride thinks otherwise.  Let your light brag on your Father.
