We do not own Jesus; He owns us. “Does He have me?” is the better thought.  Is He my all in all!  Is He the highest point in my worship or, is my life consumed with other things that I value, want and crave?  If this is the case, then what I have is me in all of my idol pursuit.  He is mine must be joined to I am His.  My heart is His; my body and total being is His. “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?  For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NASB).

Lord Jesus, my deepest desire is to belong entirely to You.  I desire this, not as some kind of legal status, but I desire that everything in me is truly in harmony with You. I am Yours, Oh, Lord. I rejoice in Your claim on me.  Amen!
