Own the life of Christ as your very own. How can one so fully identify with the life of another that it becomes their own? This is in the realm of deep spiritual mystery. First of all, remember that is what He did for us when He came down to fully own us in all of our brokenness; now we are invited to own His life in full identification with His wholeness. Own His suffering, humiliation, cross, death, burial and resurrection as yours, when you do you will be fully engaged with Him and He with you. I want to own His life because He teaches me what it means to be human. He shows me how to get through this life. As I relive the things that He did, the things that happened to Him I discover the deepest intimacy of union that I can never explain with my feeble words. My life became His life, now His life has become my life.
