Jesus has joy when we do the right thing. The souls who trust all to Jesus want Jesus to be happy with the sacrifice more than they want their own happiness. To want the joy of our Lord more than we want our own makes us His love slaves. It is the foundation of experiencing real joy to give our lives totally over to Him. To bring joy to our Lord is a part of worship. When we do it for Him, we are freed from doing it for what we can get for ourselves.
“These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.” John 15:11 (NASB)
