Prayers are hampered if you are holding a grudge against the church or an individual. Our prayers are in vain when we do not do what God tells us to do. Why should we ask for new guidance and wisdom when we did not do the last thing He told us? When we do not put into practice the Words of our Lord, we have no right to ask for a new word. We not do earn answers to our prayers, but in all of our asking we must be open to searching.
