We see “Help Wanted” signs everywhere. God has always been looking for much needed help; those who would be co-laborers with Him. God found Abraham in a hotbed of idolatry and as the one true God made a covenant with him. God went seeking Moses for a mission to Egypt. God found Samuel in the temple. Then there were Miriam, Gideon, David, Esther, Elijah, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Rahab, Mary, Elizabeth, Ana, and a thousand more. God enlisted John the Baptist to prepare the way for His Messiah. He commissioned Mary Magdalene to go announce the resurrection. That Messiah enlisted disciples; He sends us the way the Father sent Him (John 20:21-22). No one else can do your job. Listen! The call is sounding! Hear the Spirit! Obey! Go!
Christ has no body but yours,
No hands no feet on earth but yours,
Yours are the eyes with which he looks compassion on this world,
Yours are the feet with which he walks to do good,
Yours are the hands with which he blesses all the world.
Yours are the hands, yours are the feet,
Yours are the eyes, you are his body.— Teresa of Avila
