“He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” We all have ears, but we do not all have ears to hear. We may not hear because we are tuned to other things. We may not hear because we do not know the voice. Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice. I know them, and they follow me” John 10:27. Spending time with the Shepherd enables us to hear Him. He mostly whispers. Those intent on being “doers of the word” tend to hear much better.
“If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.” And He was saying to them, “Take care what you listen to.” Mark 4:23-24a (NASB)
