It is possible to look in all the wrong places for self-image. Possessions! Position! Power! People! It is not who you are but Whose you are. It is not what you own but Who owns you. It is not what you can do but what He can do through you. It is not where you have been but the One who is taking you where you are going. You belong to the King. You are His beloved child. He has redeemed you at great cost! He is saving you for Himself!
“Behold what manner of love the Father bestowed upon us, that we should be called the children of God” (I Jn 3:1).
