Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me and heal my muteness. May I speak clearly the good news of the Kingdom. May I speak up for the oppressed, the enslaved, the neglected, the lonely and the outcast. May the alien and stranger hear love and kindness in my words. May I never be harsh in my speech; may my words be seasoned with salt. May I never give voice to Satan’s words; may my voice never aid the cause of evil and injustice. May my words never cause one to turn aside in despair. May I speak as Jesus spoke to those He encountered; may my words sound as if they came from His lips.
