He Sees!  He Hears!  He Rescues!

While in Egyptian slavery, Israel cried out to their God, and He heard.  Their tears and their prayers did not escape His notice.  The Psalmist said, “The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry” Psalm 34:15 (NRSV).   He not only sees and hears, but He rescues.  The Psalmist continues, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD rescues them from them all” Psalm 34:19 (NRSV).
