Before you hurl a derogatory name at “them” or anyone, STOP, and ask yourself if you would ever call Jesus that name. Remember that Jesus is our Elder Brother, who came to claim kin to all of humanity, all of whom are made in the divine likeness. He so fully identified by incarnation with all humanity that He comes to us in our fellow humans (Matthew 25:37-40). He is one with all humans; He loves all humans. Act on this. If you have unthinkingly violated this with disrespectful name-calling then repent, bow at the cross and ask the crucified Son of Man to forgive you.
Lord Jesus, thank You for coming in full identification with all mankind. May all my comings and goings be as was Yours. Amen!
