In Eden, God walked with Adam and Eve in the cool of the day. He later dwelt in the guiding cloud and fire. Then He dwelt in glory in the Tabernacle and Temple. He came in Jesus Christ of Nazareth as Emanuel, God with us. On the day of Pentecost He came as the Holy Spirit, God in us. All of this shows the desire of God to be near and intimate with all of His creatures. He is undaunting in His pursuit of us. The Hound of Heaven never gives up. Faithful! Persistent! Open your heart!
