Some view coming to Christ as handing our sins over and receiving forgiveness. Sadly, some believers never move past the merciful forgiving Jesus. Don’t stop there. The real victory is found in handing our self over to the Lord. This is the ultimate thing we have to give Him. If we fully give and consecrate our all to Him as a person, then He gets our possessions, our gifts and our all. The reason people live their lives for themselves in grasping, accumulating and hoarding is that the self has been kept for itself rather than being fully surrendered to God. Give Christ your all and you will receive way more than you ever gave up.
Lord Jesus, this day, this very moment, I hand over to You my all, my whole self. Withholding a part of myself has always left me unfulfilled. I consecrate myself to You this day as a living sacrifice, to live my life totally for You. I desire to give all to You, the One who gave Your all. Amen!
