In a world of malignant evil, we need a Guardian for our souls and spirits. Hate, discord and anger gives Satan an opportunity to work (Ephesians 4:26-27). Satan is energized by un-Christlike ways. He is gleeful over division. God is not the “author of confusion” (I Corinthians 14:33), but Satan is. Satan wants us in his energy field. Avoid his traps. Be attentive to your own spirit. Sense what destroys your peace. Ask the God of Peace for protection.
