Our gratitude should overflow for the Son of God. He came from the Father and perfectly shows us the Father. Because of Him, we can say that God is love. By Him, we can relate to God as Father. He accepts prodigals and aliens into the family of God. We were far off, and He brought us near (Eph 2:13). We were outside, and He let us in. In Him, the rejected are accepted. In Him, the lost are found. He sets captives free. He brings the poor into heavenly riches. This Great Gift drives us to gratitude and worship.
“And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.” Luke 1:35 (KJV)
