Most people are several steps removed from the growing plants that feed us and are necessary for our survival. We are distant from a fruit bearing earth and those who tend it. Without someone to plant, tend and gather, where would we be? More than that, without God’s earth, sun and rain, where would we be? The rich variety of what God has provided us in the earth for food staggers the imagination. When the earth feeds us we should be grateful to the Creator.
“Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You. The earth has yielded its produce; God, our God, blesses us. God blesses us, That all the ends of the earth may fear Him. Psalm 67:5-7 (NASB)
