Denver, in the “Same Kind of Different as Me”, reminded us that we never know whose eyes through which God will be looking at us. This is another way of saying, that God comes to us in the faces of the last and least. In as much as we serve them we serve Him. In as much as we receive them we receive Him. The prevenient grace of Christ is present in and with all persons. There are none that He does not love; there are none in whom His grace is not present and working. Let the eyes of Jesus in you meet the eyes of Jesus in them.
“And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?” ‘The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’” (Matthew 25:38-40, also 44-45 NASB).
