Yielding to grace is the path of holiness. Grace is a guide that is leading us somewhere, not merely accepting us as is. Grace is taking us to a new place, a holy place. A place that belongs entirely to God. A place of fullness. A place of a radical attachment to God. A place where the tyranny of sin and self is broken. A place set free from the world. A place of total servanthood that results in real freedom. Yielding to grace is what true believers do.
“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.” Titus 2:11-13 (ESV)
