“Anyone who does what is good is from God.” (3 John 1:11). “Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.” (1 John 4:7). All goodness and love come from God and are marks of the people of God. Genuine goodness and love are the fruit and evidence of God’s work in our lives. Let that soak in! Whenever true goodness and love occur, God is the source of it, and He is in the middle of it. Folks who are unloving and doing evil “have not seen God,” regardless of their claims to the contrary. Lord, let your goodness and love flow through me!
