One of the first things we are taught is the difference between right and wrong; good and evil. There is a difference. We intuitively know that they cannot be the same. It is degradation of the worst sort to call evil good, and to call good evil. In our growth in the Lord these are distinctions we must make accurately about ourselves and the world around us. We turn from evil and love the good. We are to know the good and grow in it.
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter” Isaiah 5:20 (NIV).
