The Spirit is God’s deposit in us. He is the down payment promising more to come. The Spirit is God’s grand investment in us. It is risky. We can quench the Spirit or stir up the gift. We can grieve Him or work with Him. We can resist the Spirit or yield to Him. Make room for the Spirit’s work. Don’t just give Him the rooms of your heart. Give Him your body, His temple, to do His work through you every day of your life. Stay vested in His Investment, and you will do well.
