“Can a woman forget her nursing child And have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.” Isaiah 49:15 (NASB). For humankind, it is often, “Out of sight and out of mind.” We all forget people who have once been in our lives. History is forgotten. Records are lost. Our capacity to remember is limited. Our minds fail us, but the great mind of our Father always remembers. He knows our name. The names of His own are written in Heaven. One glorious day, He who does not forget, will call our names and we shall rise to be like Him, and to be with Him, in the embrace of eternal remembrance.
