“O give us help against the adversary, For deliverance by man is in vain.   Through God we shall do valiantly, And it is He who will tread down our adversaries” Psalm 60:11-12 (NASB).  God does not leave us to fight our battles alone.  He is with us when we do not detect His Presence.  The key is not to depend on any other for deliverance, but to fully trust Him in the midst of the fray.  Trust Him when it looks like the flood will swamp you.
