The One who planted the trees in the Garden of Eden gave humankind a choice. He is not insecure about our freedom. He is kind and patient with those who may be upset with Him. He is not unsettled when we get it wrong. He is not wringing His hands. He patiently keeps coming back by overtures of inviting grace. He seeks for co-laborers who will help Him. “And I sought for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the breach before me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none” Ezekiel 22:30 (ESV).
