Inspiration from God is a treasure to be guarded and a call to be carried out. It is not on the same plane as our imagination, though God does indeed touch imagination. God gives us words, thoughts, ideas and visions that originate with Him. The work that originates with us will die. The work that God inspires and calls us to will outlive us. It thus behooves us to hear God’s call and to work with Him for His glory for our time and all time.
