“Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.” (Hebrews 6:1–2 NKJV).  We don’t park at the starting gate if we are going to finish the race.  We can’t remain as a babe if we are ever going to become a mature adult. Stop starting over.  Stop looking in the rear view mirror wishing you could have started better. Don’t go back to redo your baptism or your beginning, instead, live out your baptism in all that it means.  Go on to maturity!

“There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all” (Ephesians 4:4–6 ESV).
