It is easier to complain about our crosses than to glory in them. Paul gloried in the cross. “God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world” Galatians 6:14 (KJV). The cross is not simply shaping us into glory; the cross is glory. Praise God for your cross. Christ, the Glory of God, is to be found there. When we are crucified with Christ, God’s glory rests upon us.
