We say, “Let us see Your Glory, Oh Holy One!” I think I hear Him answer, “Oh, my child, My glory came down in the babe of Bethlehem. The glory that guided my people by a cloud and fire, that glory now dwells in Him to be your Companion and Guiding-Glory. The Glory that dwelt before ministering priests in the Tent of Meeting (Exodus 40:34-35) and in the temple, now dwells on Him as your place of worship (John 1:1, 14). Draw near; He is the Temple. The Glory that was glorified on the cross has come. The glory of my own eternal Spirit, the same Spirit that hovered over the waters of creation, the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, beginning New Creation, now dwells in you to crucify, resurrect and re-create you like Him.”
Jesus, forgive us for having looked for glory in something else. Forgive us for our worship gimmicks that seek to move You. Teach us how to dwell in Your Glory and let Your Glory dwell unhindered in us.
