Truth is bigger than we are; it is much more expansive than our ability to grasp it all with our small brains. Yet, truth is revealed to us by God Himself. Without this revelation we cannot know it. From time to time we get glimpses of truth; this is what inspiration is. Of course, Jesus declared Himself to be the Truth; there is no new revelation higher than Jesus. But, I might add, we have not yet grasped the fullness of that. Since Jesus is the final revelation of the Father, and of truth itself, we still need insight into all that means; we are in very great need to sit with the Truth until new glimpses of it transform us and make us fall in worship. “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth” (John 16:13a NASB).
“For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ. No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten God, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him. (John 1:17–18 NASB).
