We are not`to be in the business of lighting our own light. Life is not about glory for ourselves. The glory belongs to our Messiah and King. We are to let His light and glory shine through us in a way that points to Him and not to us. Humility will find a way to make Him center stage. We must learn in our hearts how to transfer any praise we receive back to the One who is the source of any gifts we might have. Give Him all the glory!
