Jesus is Rabbi, Prophet, Priest and King. Nicodemus said, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God” (Jn 3:2). He was the promised Prophet (Dt 18:18); He was a “Prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people” (Lu 24:19). He is our great High Priest (Heb 7-10). He is King. He said, “For this I was born, and for this I came into the world” (Jn 18:37). We need to hear the Prophet who enfleshed the Word of God. We need to sit at the feet of the Rabbi who teaches us what to do and how to be. We need the intercession of our Priest. We need to live under the authority of the King of the Kingdom of God.
