Forgiving myself is to embrace fully, completely, and without reservations God’s forgiveness of me. If God has forgiven me nothing can be gained from continuing to beat myself up over past sins. He has completely forgiven me! “What God has cleansed, no longer consider unholy” (Ac 10:15). The leper who has been cleansed no longer has to cry “unclean” when he approaches his Lord. He can now fall before Him in gratitude and worship. Do not hold against yourself that from which God has released you.
