Joseph said to his brothers, “You meant it to me for evil, but God meant it to me for good” (Genesis 50:20). What others design for your destruction, God can redesign for your salvation, and in the case of Joseph, salvation for the whole family. It is easy to become angry and frustrated when unfair things happen to us. Surrender it. Give it time. God will refine, mature and use you through your troubles.
Father, teach us how to surrender the actions of other people that have negatively impacted us. Help us to realize that You are working in all things to shape us like Your Son, reacting as He did when unfair things were poured upon Him. Amen!
