Clothing had value.  Four soldiers wanted it.  Each took one piece, and they gambled for the fifth (John 19:23-24).  At the end of the day, they took their booty with them.  What happened to those five pieces of cloth?  Were they kept and worn?  Were they sold at a profit?  Did their value change after the resurrection?  Was anyone healed by touching them as had been true with cloth that had touched Paul?  (Acts 19:11-12).  I do not know the answer to these, but I do know that if you clothe yourself with the Risen Christ, you will be a healing influence in the world.
