Twice Paul used the phrase, “fellowship of the Holy Spirit” (2 Corinthians 13:14, Philippians 2:1). The Greek word for fellowship carries with it the ideas of: participation, sharing, communion, and partnership. It is more than sitting down for tea or coffee with Him. It is to join Him in a working relationship in His mission to the world. It is a way to bring the forces of heaven to bear on this earth. We want the Spirit to lead us to persons and places for ministry. Fellowship with the Spirit is foundational to all that we accomplish for God.
