Jesus declared forgiveness from His Cross. In His intercession He said, “Father, forgive them, they do not know what they do.” Forgiveness has been declared and needs to be discovered; it has been revealed and needs to be received. By faith, we enter into an awaiting forgiveness. It is for all humankind, not just a few; “He died for all”. His declaration from the Cross is a great statement of grace and mercy, propelled by His great love for us. It was proclaimed to sinners and Christ’s crucifiers. Think about it. Get the word out.
