Faith is not a placebo. There are those who say it only works because you think it will work. No! True faith lays hold of the God who is. In so doing it receives energy for daily living. That energy is called grace. Faith changes our circumstances and transforms our lives. It hooks its wagon to the Bright and Morning Star. It finds meaning in the Son of David, the son of Jesse. It finds water in dry places, hope amid despair, and assurance when the ground gives way.
So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.” Mk 11:22
