Face death with fear or face it standing in Christ’s empty tomb. Look at Him in the tomb. Look at yourself there with Him. Look at Him coming out of the tomb and you following right behind Him. That is what it means when it says, “He was the first fruits from the dead.” By His death He trampled down death. With His power He rendered death’s pull powerless to those who are in Christ. In His triumph is our triumph. In his victory, we are victorious. By His life, we are raised to eternal life!
