Everywhere we look there are power cords and charge cords for this or that device. Everywhere we look in our lives there are charges of new energy that come to us from multiple sources. We get energy from friends and relationships. We get energy from learning and doing. We get energy by giving energy. Being with the creation gives us energy, as does art and beauty. We get energy from worship and sacrament. Our real source of energy is the Holy Spirit. He aids us in a thousand ways. He comes to us in real mystery with real energy for real renewal.
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13 (NASB)
