“His steadfast love endures forever” (Psalm 100:5b). God loves us as our faithful Spouse. In sickness and poverty His love endures. When we are at our worst, love is there to help us. When we are at our best, it rejoices with us. His love is steadfast and not fickle, fading or forsaking. He is there with us when no one else is. This love endures; it is patient and persevering. It overcomes all that would frustrate it.
Father, thank You for your enduring love for us, your frail children.
