The ancient tabernacle was built after a heavenly pattern (Hebrews 8:5). Our worship on earth is to reflect and be in harmony with the worship that is now occurring in heaven (Revelation 4-5); we are to join the songs the angels in heaven sing. We are to pray that the will of God be done on earth as it is done in heaven; we are to mirror heaven at doing the will of God (The Lord’s Prayer). Earthly marriages are to reflect the heavenly marriage that Christ has with His church (Ephesians 5:32). We are to live out the image of our heavenly Father as His image-bearers in the world. How are we doing at reflecting God’s great glory in this dark world?
