Each spring we plant seeds in the ground so that they might die and be multiplied. Jesus said of Himself, “Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit” (John 12:24). Paul said that we are “raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God” (Romans 7:4b). In dying to our selfish self, we find a new fruit bearing self. May all of your fruit be like the fruit of Christ.
