The Holy Spirit, a member of the Holy Trinity, indwells us. He does so in order:
To cure us from our hunger for power and control.
To cure us from our love of praise and attention.
To cure us of our love of the chief seats;
To cure us from this selfishness by sanctification.
To create meekness and humility.
To create community and preference for the other.
To create servanthood and sacrifice.
To create holiness of heart where intents are pure and holy.
To create hearts at one with each other and the Trinity.
“I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.” John 17: 20
